Welcome to Wayne County Family Connection! Georgia Family Connection is a statewide initiative that cultivates public and private collaboration at the local level. Located in all 159 counties, Georgia Family Connection is the largest statewide network of it's kind n the nation.

Wayne County Family Connection is collaborative made up of community members to include: Families, Government, City and County, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Corporations, Wayne Memorial Hospital, Businesses, Board of Education, Associations, Clubs, and basically anyone that wants to take part in making our community a great place to live, work, and play........for all.

You are invited to take part in Wayne County Family Connection. It's free and easy just click the "sign up" link at the bottom left hand of this page. You will receive emails of upcoming events, have access to the Members Area which will include our monthly meeting Agenda, Minutes, and more. We have 5 Strategy Teams to choose from that really need your help. For more information just click on Strategy Teams to the left.

We meet the 4th Monday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in the Family Connection office located across from the entrance to the High School Baseball Field in the old Band Room of the old High School. We hope you will find many resources here. If you don't find what you are looking for please give us a call at 912-810-0101.

"Community Connections"

Wayne County Family Connection and the Navigtor 360 Team worked with several families who have children with disabilities to establish a PATH for the success of their child and their family. Community Connections is a book that is a result of two of these families desire for their daughters to follow their dreams and work as caregivers in assisted living homes or nursing homes. Additionally, the families are passionate about literacy and this book is culmination of students with disabilities interviewing seniors in our community about days gone by. To purchase a book please call the office at (912) 810-0101 or email at familyconnection@waynehelp.com. Books are $20 and all proceeds go to the Wayne County Navigator Team to help provide inclusive activities for students with and without disabilities.

Tax Payers for a Better Wayne County

Is a non-partisan unincorporated association of citizens that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and works to increase understanding of major public policy and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The organization is developed by concerned citizens of Wayne County.

"Community Activators"

Community Activators provides action-based and organizational coaching for helping professionals, educators, and community activists. Our expertise and services are soundly rooted in strength, asset-based and multicultural models of helping and community development, as well as being supported by modern evidence-based research. "Real Communities"

We are Person Centered: We are dedicated in finding ways to provide individualized supports, directed by the person and allies, that assist the person in having valued roles in community life and build more inclusive community settings.

We are Community Centered: We are dedicated to build associations and alliances that allow citizens to make productive connections around what they care about, mobilize existing community assets, and make those assets productive by taking part in meaningful action.
